We are going on the Disney Dream in February. At dinner time, it says "no shorts, swimwear or tank tops". Does this mean that the Dad's and kids have to wear pants?

    Hi Marie!

I know you are looking forward to setting sail very soon!

You are going to be so impressed when you see the magnificent dining rooms onboard the Dream!  Disney thought of every detail when they created such extraordinary spaces to enjoy your nightly dinner.

For your dinner attire, I suggest a pair of khaki slacks for you husband and son with a collared polo type shirt. I don't know the age of your children, but when my son was younger, I did dress him in a nice pair of khaki shorts with his polo shirts for dinner on cruise casual nights.  My daughter enjoys wearing sundresses, skirts or capri pants with coordinating tops each evening.

I hope this helps in your final preparations!

    Bon Voyage!
