Hi, we are going to be on Disney Dream in Feb. Are Castaway Cay expenses/meals included in the cruise price?

    Ahoy, Kim!

You are in for a "Dream-y" time next month when your crew spends the day at Disney Castaway Cay

There is a lot to experience on this island paradise that is included in your cruise fare such as the youth areas-Scuttle's Cove (kids 3-12) and the Teen Hideout (teens 13-17). You can relax on the family and/or adult-only beach under a complimentary umbrella on your chaise lounge, play in the sand, nap in a hammock under the trees or venture out to explore the island. There are lots of areas to play like the Grouper Game Pavilion (recreation type games like ping-pong, pool and shuffleboard), In Da Shade Game Pavilion (foosball, basketball, table tennis), Spring-a-Leak (water play area), Pelican Plunge (water-play area with platform and two water slides that twist) and the Sports Beach (volleyball, soccer, tetherball). Some of your favorite Disney Characters will also be there in their adorable beach attire so be sure to check your cruise newsletter for times and locations. If you like to walk or run, the Castaway Cay 5K is included and sign-up info will be in your cruise newsletter. And transportation around the island is complimentary along with wagons, strollers and beach wheelchairs.

Lunch is included so head to Cookies BBQ or Cookies Too for a delicious feast on the island! Soft drinks and ice cream are included too! Lunch is typically served from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

So now you may be asking what's not included. Port Adventures are offered for an additional charge including bike, float, raft and snorkel rentals. The very popular beach cabanas located along the shore, and souvenirs from the two retail shops. Specialty drinks and alcohol are also an additional fee as well as soft drinks or bottled water purchased at any of the bar locations. Your "Key to the World" card will be accepted on the island for any purchases.
