Is the disney dining plan worth the cost? when i input the info for my family of 5... 2 adults 3 children ages 16, 15, and 1 for hotel and park hopper tickets the price is 2438.00 when adding a dining plan it adds over $1000.00 to my total.

    Hi Stephanie!

I absolutely love the Disney Dining Plan! I absolutely think that the 2016 Disney Dining Plan saves money, time and stress. By pre-paying for all of your meals, you aren't only saving money from purchasing the meals at the park, but it will save you a tremendous amount of stress. You can pre-plan all of your meals in advance by making your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) ahead of your vacation. While it may seem like a lot of money to pay up front, consider that you will get a refillable mug for every individual in your family that has the plan. You can get unlimited refills of soda, hot cocoa and coffee at your resort. Also, your one-year old will not need the plan and will get to dine for free at Table Service Restaurants. You will get one Quick Service, one Table Service and one Snack per guest, per night of your stay. If you plan on spending much of your time at the Walt Disney World resorts and parks and eating your meals there, it's well worth the cost.

    Magically,
    Stacy
