We have the Disney dining plan for our upcoming trip. We were wondering what types of beverages are considered under the plan. We do know alcohol beverages aren't included. for ex we are eating at Sci Fi, would milk shakes or coffee/tea or soft drink be ok

    Hi Corina,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question!  I'm a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan and purchase it for every vacation my family takes to Walt Disney World.  I think you'll love it!

The definition of "non-alcoholic beverage" that's included with your meal can vary from one restaurant to the other, but will usually includes the standard options of a soft drink, coffee, iced tea, milk, juice or ice water.  If there is something else that you see on the menu that you think might be allowed, the answer is "maybe."  In the past, I've been able to order milk shakes at both Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant and Whispering Canyon Cafe, and smoothies at Kona, The Wave...of American Flavors and Boma - Flavors of Africa.  I can't guarantee those will allowed, but it never hurts to ask!

I hope that helps, Corina, and wishing you a most magical vacation!  Please visit us here again if you have any other questions before your trip.
