On the Disney Dining plan do you have to tip when using a table service credit?

Hello there, Sallyanne! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach back out and ask another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite places to visit due to the attention to detail given to vacation packages! As someone with a high-stress job, I appreciate being able to relax and have my visit as streamlined as possible! With the Disney Dining Plan, my family and I never have to worry about keeping a food budget during our vacations and can spend more energy enjoying all of the tasty offerings available!

When using the Disney Dining Plan, Guests use pre-paid meal credits to purchase their food. This includes a collection of snack credits and meal credits based on the number of nights you are staying at your Disney Resort hotel. Gratuity is not included with any of the Disney Dining Plan credits unless specifically noted so that will be something to keep in mind when planning your vacation budget! My family and I will often calculate our projected gratuity ahead of time and use cash. This way, we have slightly less spur of the moment math to do during our vacation meals!

I hope this information assists you in preparing for your 2020 vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
