Welcome to the
Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brittany! Thank you for bringing us your question about your vacation at
Walt Disney World! I'm so happy to hear your family will be using a
dining plan, they are so convenient! You'll see you will have a lot more freedom and will only focus on the yumminess of your meals rather than on the prices!
If your child is older than nine years of age, then he/she will be considered an adult and will certainly be able to choose from the adult menu options. However, if he/she is between three and nine years-old, I am afraid they will have to order from the children's menu (where available), which can always be adapted to become something they find more appealing. You can simply let the Cast Member assisting you about your situation and they will do their best to help you; they are very accommodating and will do everything in their power to try and come up with something to solve the "problem". You may also request to speak with a special-diets trained Cast Member or one of the chefs.
Brittany, I hope this information is helpful. I know your daughter will be more than fine and you will all have a blast!
Please come back with more questions as you plan your vacation. We love to help!
