Hello! With the Disney Dining Plan, can you share table service credits? One entree and one dessert will be more than enough food for my mother and I at any given meal. I don’t want to waste food!

    Dear Jillian,

We appreciate receiving your question on the Disney Parks Moms Panel and, in this way, be able to help you plan a magical vacation with your family!

The Dining Plans offered at the Walt Disney World Resort offer a very convenient way to prepay for all your meals prior to your vacation and forget about the hassle that choosing from a menu and comparing prices might cause to certain people. Personally, I like the independence my children have, especially if they decide to eat at a different location because then I do not have to be right beside them when ordering.

These plans give guests an amount of entitlements for them to use when eating at various locations, including table service restaurants. These credits are personal and sharing them is not allowed; each guest is expected to order a meal for themselves. There are several options to order from a menu, and if you feel at one point that you prefer to skip an item such as dessert, you can absolutely do that! Or you can ask for it to be placed in a bag to eat in your hotel room as a snack later in the day or for breakfast the next morning!

Jillian, I hope these thoughts are helpful! I wish you and your family a memorable trip together!

    All the best,
    ~Desiree

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
