We will be on the Disney Dining Plan for our Sept WDW vacation...so excited! I understand that kids can eat from the entire buffet at TS restaurants - not just the "kids" buffet. Is that true with "family style" TS restaurants like The

    Hi Sharon!
Congratulations on being able to book your Walt Disney World vacation with a Free Dining promo!!! You're going to enjoy not only your time at the theme parks, but all your dining experiences as well.
You are correct that when dining at buffets, children are able to create their dinner of choice from whatever is the fare. When dining at Family Style restaurants, such as The Garden Grill, Ohana and Liberty Tree Tavern, you are served in platters for all to share. However, the kids menu differs from the adult menu, and they will be served in platters that are brought to the table, much like the adult meals. The kids menu at Garden Grill, as I believe that was the restaurant in question ( your question was cut off, alerta) consists of drumsticks, mac and cheese and sweet potato sticks. Your child, and the adults alike, are more than welcome to share off of the adult and child platters equally, and you can request more of whichever platter you are enjoying!
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
