with the Disney Dining Plan do we need to make reservations for breakfast if we choose to eat outside of our hotel? we have all of our dinner reseravations done, but I haven't booked anything for breakfast and can we go to other Disney resorts to eat?

You are welcome to dine anywhere at WDW, no matter where you are staying. Many guests do choose to have breakfast at other resorts.

As to whether you need breakfast reservations, that depends a bit on what time of year you're visiting, what time you want to eat, and specifically which breakfast you want to attend. For example, the Chef Mickey's breakfast at the Contemporary hotel is one of the most popular meals in all of WDW. If you want to eat there, you will need a reservation. However, at most of the non-character breakfasts, if you showed up right at opening time (usually about 7:30 a.m.) during a non-holiday week, you would often be able to walk in and eat within about 15 minutes. If there is someplace that you have your heart set on dining, then I would make sure to arrange a reservation.

    Happy dining!
