On the Disney Dining plan, for our lunch at Be Our Guest, the kids meals don't come with cupcakes. Can I substitute a cupcake for my beverage? Then give the cupcake to my kid? Thanks.

Did someone mention cupcakes? Hey, Delilah! Disney cupcakes are the best! Someone must be behind the scenes sprinkling pixie dust on all of them because I have never found a Disney cupcake I did not like. I can certainly understand how your child would want a delicious Strawberry Cream Cheese one while at Be Our Guest Restaurant. Or maybe the preference may lie with the Masters Cupcake, filled to the brim "the gray stuff?" No need to ask the dishes, I can tell you it is quite delicious!

I am happy to tell you that the 2016 Disney Dining Plan does allow you to swap out your non-alcoholic beverage and/or dessert for an eligible snack item at Quick-Service dining locations. In my experience, the cupcakes are snack credit eligible. You may run into an issue with this substitution if you pre-order your meal online in My Disney Experience. If so, you will want to wait until you arrive at the restaurant to speak with a Cast Member about it.

Delilah, I hope you have a wonderful day. Please come back and visit us if you have any other questions before your upcoming vacation. We would love to help you find more ways to add cupcakes (I mean pixie dust!) to your enchanting day at Magic Kingdom Park.
