Hi, How does the Disney Dining Plan credits work at either a Casual Dining or Fine/Signature Dining Restaurant? More specifically, do you get 1 app, 1 entrée, and 1 dessert at the restaurant (other than buffet)? Or can you order more?

    Hi Tanya,

Welcome to the Moms Panel.  We're here to assist you with your vacation planning questions.  The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to prepay for your meals during your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. It does get a bit confusing sometimes as to what is included.  Depending on the type of Dining Plan that you purchase, the menu selections may vary.

For the standard Dining Plan, an entree, dessert and beverage are included for each person.  You can certainly order an appetizer or additional menu items, but they will not be included in your plan, and you will need to pay for those separately.  To help you better understand the plan, you may view this informational brochure which provides all the details that you need for the Disney Dining Plan experience.    For me, the most difficult part is trying to select a restaurant. There are so many delicious choices.

More information about the Disney Dining Plans can be found here, including the Deluxe Dining Plan and the Quick Service Dining Plan.  Just click on the Related Resources section to find the Dining Plan of your choice.

I hope this information was helpful.  Wishing you a gastronomically delightful vacation!
