Can I use the Disney dining card that is purchased with Disneyland tickets for the princess breakfast at the Grand Californian Hotel?

Hi Kim! Welcome to planDisney. There’s something truly enchanting about starting your day with a royal celebration, and the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is about as storybook-perfect as it gets. Sharing a meal with Disney royalty feels like stepping into your very own fairy tale (no glass slippers required).

I’m happy to share that, in most cases, you can use a Disney Dining Card toward the cost of Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The Disney Dining Card functions like a Disney Gift Card and can be applied toward eligible dining locations across the Disneyland Resort, including character dining experiences. When it’s time to settle the bill, simply let your server know you’ll be using your Disney Dining Card as payment. I do recommend double-checking the terms associated with your specific dining card offer, just to confirm there are no special restrictions tied to your ticket package.

Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is a delightful three-course experience featuring beautifully presented breakfast and brunch selections. You’ll enjoy a combination of plated entrées and shared starters and desserts, along with interactive moments and private photo opportunities with the princesses. It’s not just a meal; it’s an immersive experience filled with storytelling, music, and heartfelt conversations. Keep your phone or camera ready, because the magical moments happen quickly (and yes, visiting the dessert spread more than once is absolutely part of the royal experience).

As a quick update, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is currently being hosted in the Trillium Ballroom at the Grand Californian Hotel rather than its traditional home inside Napa Rose. While the setting may be different for now, the regal atmosphere and personal interactions remain just as special. You may hear about Tiana’s perseverance, Ariel’s dreams of exploring new worlds, or another princess sharing the courage behind her story.

If you’re considering other character dining experiences during your visit, there are several delightful options. Mickey’s Tales of Adventure at Storytellers Café offers a lively, outdoorsy vibe with Mickey and friends. Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel is full of playful energy and colorful fun. And Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at Plaza Inn is the only character dining experience located inside Disneyland Park, which adds an extra sprinkle of pixie dust to your morning.

No matter which experience you choose, you’re in for a memorable meal filled with laughter, delicious bites, and magical encounters. If any other questions pop up as you plan, Kim, we at planDisney always delighted to help you prepare for your next royal adventure.

Have an incredible day filled with magical moments!
