Going to Disney from Dec 9-15 with small kids, and will be heading to MVMCP for the second time. We saw the first parade of the night before jumping ride to ride without lines. Is the second one as busy, or is it easier to get a better view with that one?

    Hi there Brian!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! December is my favorite time of the year to visit the "Most Magical Place on Earth" as all of the parks and resorts are beautifully decorated for the Holiday season!

I have personally attended both Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party several times in the past. I have also watched the first and second parade at both Special Events and have always found the first parade to be more crowded. I know crowd levels can vary depending on the specific date and how close the party is to the actual holiday. However, if your little ones can hold out to watch the second parade, then I would try to view it this time. I would still recommend securing a spot for Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade at least 45 minutes to one hour prior to the parade start for optimal viewing. I hope this information is helpful! Please don't hesitate to write us back with any additional vacation planning questions. Best wishes for a magical and merry trip, Brian!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
