I have a Disney debit card does that work for the Disney card?

Hey there, hi there, Roma! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by with your question!

The countdown is on, and things are starting to get festive at Disneyland Resort! The pumpkins are gone, and snow is starting to fall on Sleeping Beauty Castle. It really is a magical time to plan a visit. The Disney Visa Debit Card does come with a lot of the same perks as the Disney Visa Card when you are visiting the parks. As a Disney Visa Debit Card holder, you will be able to access the cardholder character experiences, merchandise, and dining discounts, and even discounts on guided tours. I can't wait to visit soon and use that discount for some of the new holiday merchandise.

When it's time to grab a meal or snack, don't forget about mobile order! It's my favorite feature in the Disneyland App. What you will want to do is make sure your Disney Visa Debit Card is saved to your MyDisney account, which can be done in your profile. Then when you go to checkout, you'll be able to select your card and if it's a participating location, the discount will be applied automatically.

Roma, I hope this information is good news for your upcoming visit. If you have any other questions, come back and see us again!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
