Going to Disney in 14 days! We are staying at Coronado Springs. Have 8:20 at Chef Mickey one day and 5PM HoopDeDoo another day. What times/routes would be best to get to each....or would a cab be best? Thanks!

Hi Heather! Only two more weeks until your Disney vacation -- yippee! Buses run every fifteen minutes or so between the Coronado Springs Resort and the parks, and you'll be able to reach both your Chef Mickey's and Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue reservations by taking the bus to the Magic Kingdom. From there, you can walk or take the monorail over to the Contemporary for your meal with Mickey and and friends. Since you may have to wait a few minutes for a bus to arrive, I'd plan on the trip to Chef Mickey's taking about 45 minutes. (If you're in a hurry, a cab from the Coronado Springs would get you there in about 10 minutes.)

To reach the Fort Wilderness Resort, just take the boat from the Magic Kingdom. The boat drops you off close to Pioneer Hall, where Hoop-Dee-Doo is performed. Since you'll have to wait for a bus and a boat and since you're supposed to arrive a little early for the Hoop-Dee-Doo, I'd recommend you leave your room at Coronado Springs by 3:30 or 3:45 p.m. A cab isn't necessarily much faster for this trip, since they generally drop you off at the entrance of Fort Wilderness and you then have to use the Fort's internal bus system to travel to Pioneer Hall. The show is so much fun -- it's definitely worth the trip over to the Fort Wilderness!

Have a magical vacation! Come visit me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! I'm happy to help!
