When will the 2024 Disney After Dark dates be released?

Hiya, Michelle, and welcome to planDisney. I love the Disney After Hours events at Walt Disney World Resort, so I understand your excitement. Seeing the theme parks nearly deserted makes for short wait times and unique photo opportunities. I have a shot of my husband in front of Cinderella Castle, and not another guest is in sight. So let's see what we can discover about these ticketed events for 2024.

I spoke to a friendly Cast Member who said that information about any 2024 after-hours ticketed events had yet to be released. I suggest checking the Disney Parks Blog for announcements and following the Disney Parks social media pages. My favorite is @disneyparks on Instagram.

I did some online research, and announcements for 2023 events came early this year. While there's no guarantee that the events will return in 2024, I suggest you keep checking up until your visit. Another tip is to book a stay at a Deluxe Resort Hotel because complimentary Extended Evening Hours will be returning on certain days for specific theme parks. Those hours are currently available to guests at participating Deluxe Resorts at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT, so keep an eye on those official resources for 2024 details.

Michelle, your visit might fall during the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Last year's festival started in mid-January, so I'm sending pixie dust and magical wishes that you can enjoy the colorful displays and delicious food that make this festival one of my favorites. I'll attach a planDisney podcast with all the festival details!

Thanks again for stopping by, Michelle, and come back to planDisney anytime. We're here to help!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
