Hi Disney Moms and Dads We are counting down 120 days to go from New Zealand to Disney World! I think we have most things sorted but transport between resorts seems to be very long winded. Can you tell me, is it possible to walk from FW cabins and POR?

    Hey there Darenne!

Your *MAGICAL* journey across the Pacific will be here before you know it!

While it is definitely possible to walk to Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort from the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, the walk will take 30-45 minutes and is approximately 2 miles. It might be quicker and easier to take a boat launch to the Magic Kingdom then hop on the next bus headed to Port Orleans - Riverside.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions about your transportation options or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
