Hi Ashley,
Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you for bringing your important question to us. How exciting that you and your family are planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation for next year! There is so
much for families to enjoy together.
Disney Cruise Line does not have Disability Access Service (DAS) like
Walt Disney World Resort and
Disneyland Resort. But never fear, Disney Cruise Line
offers many options for Guests with special needs that impact their ability to wait in line or remain in a crowded environment. Unfortunately, youth activities and babysitting services are unable to offer one-on-one care. You can learn more in the
Information for Guests with Disabilities or Medical Conditions booklet. I encourage you to contact Disney Cruise Line Special Services as you plan to discuss any questions you have. You can reach them by
email or by phone at (407) 566-3602.
Ashley, when your family boards the ship and you have a chance to explore, I encourage you to stop by the
Youth Clubs and speak with one of the Youth Counselors onboard. They will do their best to help all your children have a safe and enjoyable time onboard. Also, check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for special activities like Family Movie Fun Time. During these showings in the
Buena Vista Theatre, some lights are left on and the volume is lower, as well as allowing the audience to leave their seats, move about, and have lots of fun.
You can share the complimentary
My Disney Cruise Adventure book with each of your children to help them learn more about what to expect onboard!
I hope this information is helpful as you plan your family's vacation. Please sail by any time with other questions you may have.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
