Ahoy Tricia!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am sure that you are getting excited to cruise with Captain Mickey this summer. Do you have your countdown set? The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App has one of my favorite ways to count down the days until we set sail. Be sure to download this on your Apple or Android device before your cruise to use the fun countdown feature. Once that countdown hits zero and you step onboard, the real magic begins. This app gives you access to the times and locations of all the onboard activities, character greetings, dinner menus and more!
So your countdown is at zero, you have heard your name announced and your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App is ready to go. Now what? It is time to check out your stateroom! Standard staterooms onboard the ships have the tub and shower combination. Wheelchair accessible staterooms do have roll-in showers which do not have a lip to step over. This could give you an alternative to the tub and shower combinations offered in the standard staterooms. If you do not currently have an accessible stateroom, you could contact Disney Cruise Line to ask if there are any of these staterooms available for your sailing that you are able to book.
If an accessible room is not available, you could consider buying the Rainforest Pass for the length of your cruise from
Senses Spa and Salon. The pass is available for an additional fee and grants you access to the spa facilities including the locker room with walk in showers. You also then can enjoy the steam room, rainforest showers and more! This is one of my favorite spaces onboard.
Enjoy making magical memories! Bon voyage! Angie
