Ahoy there, Victoria! Thanks for floating by planDisney.
I love that your daughter is already planning her onboard adventures. The kids' clubs are full of wonder, and the teen and tween clubs are super cool. The last time we sailed, we were in a similar situation. My boys were some of the oldest in the kids club, and wanted to join my daughter in the
Edge. Unfortunately, they weren't yet 10, so they got to hang out exclusively in the
Oceaneer Club. My daughter had so much fun hanging that over their heads during the cruise!
But! It's not a total loss for your daughter! Since she will be turning 11 within a few months, she can enjoy the
Edge and vibe with the tweens with parental permission. You will need to join her in person to sign the permission slip. After that, she must have her MagicBand or Key to the World card when she visits. She is going to have so much fun! I narrowed down your sailing to the Dream, Fantasy, or Wish, and all the clubs have such a cool edge! The Wish's club is all urban NYC, and if you're on the Fantasy, she can see people whip by on the
AquaDuck, while the Dream's club has a dance floor and an outdoor deck!
Since she will be on the younger side of the crowd, I suggest the two of you visit during the
Open House on embarkation day. That way, you and she can check out the club, meet the counselors, and settle any nerves before she ventures in independently.
Victoria, you know where to find us if you have any other questions. I wish you and your daughter a magical sailing.
