Welcome aboard planDisney, Jessica!
I am so happy you sailed by as you prepare for your time onboard with Captain Mickey. It sounds like you have a great, big, beautiful adventure with your family on the horizon!
Sailing the high seas is a dream come true! Flying the Millennium Falcon, transforming into a toy in Andy's Room, sprinkling pixie dust in Pixie Hollow or even steering a Disney Cruise Line ship into port are just some of the amazing adventures for kids in the
Oceaneer Club or
Oceaneer Lab. Sailors like your son, between the ages of 3 and 12 years old, can check in to these incredible youth spaces at any time during your vacation.
As your daughter will not yet be 3 years old at the time you sail, she will spend her time in the
"it's a small world" nursery. This youth club does require reservations, so I would recommend you make them as early as possible after your
advance booking window opens.
I know how challenging it can be when siblings who are close are in different youth clubs! I have been there in the past, and now that my son is older, I am back in that position again. My husband and I spent time before we sailed talking to both kids about the special clubs each were a part of, so they knew what to expect once they were onboard. We also took advantage of open house time at the Oceaneer Club so we could all explore these fun spaces together, as during this time, the club is open to all sailors! Check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the open house dates and times.
