Ahoy there, Angela! Thank you for sailing by with your question.
Disney Cruise Line makes it a priority to do everything they can to maintain a safe and healthy environment both for guests and crew members. They also take into consideration recommendations from the CDC and monitor the direction things are going to ensure they have the most up-to-date information available.
I want to preface my answer by encouraging you to keep an eye on the
Know Before You Go section of the website. It's there that you'll find the latest information and recommendations from Disney Cruise Line with regard to health and safety requirements. As of today,
the vaccine policy for sailing from ports in the United States is that full vaccination is not required, however, it is recommended. So the short answer is no, you do not need to be vaccinated.
This may vary based on the port you are traveling to, and the country you are cruising from, and the one US exception for right now is sailings to Bermuda through October 21st, 2022.
Unvaccinated guests are required to provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken 1 to 2 days prior to boarding the ship. There are options for testing, including a test at home option that is super convenient and can be done in a hotel room if you are traveling a day or two early to arrive for your trip.
I hope this information helps with your vacation planning, Angela! If there's anything else we can help with, just let us know.
