Does the Disney cruise offer special rates for military. Veterans? Also is there a departure port in Texas?

Welcome aboard, Tashana! It sounds like you are considering a magical sailing with Disney Cruise Line! I hope you find the perfect cruise itinerary for your family, as I just know how much fun you'll have onboard one of Disney's pixie-dusted ships!

Check out the Military Rates under Special Offers on Disney Cruise Line's website.

Disney Cruise Line recently completed it's final sailing out of Galveston, Texas, and my family was lucky enough to have sailed twice from that port. I know it was very popular with many families from Texas and other states nearby. Unfortunately, the current itineraries through April of 2015 do not include a Texas homeport. Port Canaveral and Miami are just a short flight away from your home in Missouri though, and don't forget that many guests tie in a resort stay at the Walt Disney World Resort before or after their Port Canaveral cruises! That's my favorite type of vacation with Disney: surf and turf!

Have fun planning and please let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail!
