Ahoy Dennis!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited to hear you will be going on your first Disney Cruise next month! My family's first cruise with Captain Mickey was also onboard the Disney Magic. I LOVE the intimate feeling of this ship and all the incredible amenities it offers.
Like all of the ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Magic has really well thought out staterooms. The
Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms have plenty of storage and room to move around if relaxing in your room during your sailing. These staterooms have one or two portholes to provide you a beautiful view of the sea and each port of call. My favorite "extras" that Disney Cruise Line offers with these staterooms is the split bathrooms (so multiple guests can get ready for the day or evening at the same time) as well as separation of the sitting and sleeping areas. I appreciate how much thought went into designing staterooms for cruising with a family.
I believe that every stateroom offered by Disney Cruise Line is great! Each ship offers are variety of options to meet the needs of every guest. That being said, with so many onboard activities, amazing spaces to experience and fantastic Port Adventures in each location you visit, you may be surprised how little time you end up spending in your stateroom. Be sure to check your Personal Navigator newsletter left in your stateroom each evening or download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to find the locations and times of all the activities onboard. Be sure to see
Tangled: The Musical - it is an incredible show!
Enjoy making magic memories! Angie
