Hi, we will be going on our 1st Disney cruise with a 7 month old and a 2 year old. We are contemplating having them put in nursery so we can have a day to ourselves. Do you recommend we do it? We are just worried the girls will freak out.

    Ahoy Robert!
Congratulations on your upcoming Disney Cruise!  You have chosen the best cruise line for your family, and your crew is going to have such a magical time!  Seeing the wonder and excitement through the eyes of your two little ones will make this one of your most memorable vacations yet!
One of the best aspects of a Disney Cruise is that the whole family is able to enjoy a vacation because the cruise staff makes sure there is something for everyone!  On my first sailing, my husband & I were able to experience many of the adult activities and areas of the ship because of the amazing staff at the nursery.  My son loved the bright, interactive space and all the age appropriate toys and books! We felt very comfortable leaving our littlest cruiser with the trained childcare workers throughout our vacation.  Something else reassuring is that they keep the ratio low, and you can always stop by and peek in through the two-way mirror.  10 hours of nursery time per child can be reserved ahead of time in the Planning Center at www.disneycruise.com.
Hours can also be booked onboard but it is first-come, first serve so you want to stop by or call early on in your sailing.
I hope my answer helps with your planning, Robert!  If you have any other questions, please write back! I'm always happy to help!
    Have a wonderful day!
