Welcome aboard, Nikki! Wow! Nine Disney Cruises! You obviously have learned what my family has: Disney Cruise Line delivers magical vacations for families, time and time again!
Since you live at the beach (lucky you!), I won't mention the beautiful beach days or typical snorkeling-type adventures, though there are some nice ones in the Caribbean. But, if you're looking for a real adventure, why not try helmet diving? Both St. Maarten and St. Thomas/St. John offer adventures for cruisers ages 8 and up that take you under the sea wearing a helmet and walking on the floor of the ocean to experience a unique view of the creatures and reefs. The Sea Trek Helmet Dive is in St. Maarten and there is also a Sea Trek Helmet Dive at Coral World Ocean Park in St. Thomas. I've had family who have experienced the helmet dive at Coral World and highly recommend this. Plus, you'll have additional time to enjoy that great nature park after your dive.
If you're not up for such activity, there are other adventures taking guests to Coral World in St. Thomas, including the Coral World and Butterfly Garden adventure which I can highly recommend! In St. Maarten, the St. Maarten Island and Butterfly Tour is a great one that my family enjoyed.
Maybe you want to stay away from the water altogether, and that's fine too! If that's the case, climb up into the trees for some real adventure on the
Tree Limin' Zipline Adventure in St. Thomas. As long as your boys meet the weight requirements, you'll be all set! This is certainly a fun and unique way to experience St. Thomas, Nikki!
Have fun as you decide on your Port Adventures! Please let me know if you have other questions before you set sail this spring!
