Ahoy there, Sabrina!
New York City is one of my favorite cities worldwide and a fabulous place to kick off a vacation! Arrive a few days early and enjoy everything from Broadway (
Aladdin is fantastic!) to the Highline before you sail the high seas.
It looks like you agree with me and are patiently awaiting Captain Mickey to add it back to the list of sailings. Unfortunately, he has no plans to do so in 2025 or 2026. Disney Cruise Line usually announces itineraries 13-18 months in advance, so watch
Disney Parks Blog, the website, or the cruise line's
Instagram (or come back to us!) to see if anything changes.
You drove from New York to Florida for your last Disney cruise. What a trooper! Once, we drove from Boston to Orlando to escape a Nor'easter, and it was a great road trip! If you're willing to do the same, there are a lot of
fantastic itineraries leaving from Port Canaveral on the gorgeous newest ship -
The Treasure. The Haunted Mansion Parlor is spooktacular, and there is even a lemming-sized door outside of Jumbeaux's Sweets so that even the tiniest members of the crew can satisfy their sweet tooth!
Sabrina, I wish I had better news for you, and if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to sail back to us. Fingers crossed (with a bit of pixie dust!) that a New York itinerary is on the horizon.
