Ahoy, Shari!
Thank you for sailing back over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another excellent question. I know next week can't come quick enough, but you've almost made it!
I looked back at a few of my past "Guest Account Summaries" and noticed that my stateroom account was charged as my onboard purchases were made. Port Adventures that we booked were charged on the first day, and the pre-paid gratuities were also charged toward the beginning of the sailings. Since you are sailing on the Disney Dream, you'll have two ways to keep up with your account during your cruise. Your stateroom TV will allow you to check (I believe you can find your current purchases under "Guest Services") or you can also stop by Guest Services to ask for a printout of your charges. You can drop by any time as someone is there 24 hours a day to assist you. The summary will be itemized by Guest, but will also list the total charges for everyone in your cabin. Also, as you leave your stateroom on the last morning, you'll find a final printout on the metal fish next to your stateroom door. If you need to stop by Guest Services before you disembark, please plan to do so by 7:00 a.m.
Shari, as you think about how to handle your onboard payment next week, you can always apply cash or
Disney Gift Cards to your account at any time. We do this often as I like to budget as we plan for our upcoming cruise by picking up Disney Gift Cards at my local grocery store. This may be something to consider so you don't have to worry about going over your spending limit. Just be sure to hold on to your Disney Gift Cards while onboard because any unspent amount can be placed back on the original cards before you disembark.
I hope you have the most magical time next week! It's been such a pleasure assisting you, and I hope you'll let us know if you have any other last minute questions.
Bon Voyage!
Nancy
