We are going on a Disney Cruise out of Fort Lauderdale and using Disney transportation from the airport to the ship. I know we go to baggage claim, but we are flying in the night before. So which baggage claim do we go to and what time?

Ahoy, Sarah! Thanks for sailing back to planDisney with another great question about your upcoming Disney Dream cruise. I’m so excited for you!

You are smart to fly in the night before, because travel days can be unpredictable, and this way you’ll start your vacation stress-free. Since you’ve already booked Disney Cruise Line ground transfers, you can relax knowing your trip to the port is already handled. I chatted with a Disney Cruise Line representative who confirmed that on embarkation day, you’ll head to Terminal 1, Baggage Claim Area, at the Disney Cruise Line podium by 11:00 AM.

About two days before your cruise, you’ll also receive an email from Disney Cruise Line with your pickup time, meeting spot, and any last-minute details. One of the best things about using Disney transfers is how easy it makes everything. Plus, you’ll usually be among the earlier groups to arrive at the port. It’s a nice way to officially kick off your cruise vacation.

And just so you know...you're in for a treat sailing out of Port Everglades! I sailed out of here last summer and it is a beautiful, convenient port, themed to Nemo's Big Blue World...and it's so exciting the moment you spot those Mickey ears at the terminal.

I hope this helps, Sarah! Wishing you smooth travels!

    Sea ya real soon,
    Eean
