I am going on a Disney cruise and flying into MCO airport the day before and staying at a hotel. Can you tell me how luggage will work for arriving to port Canaveral?

    Ahoy, Diana!
An enchanted voyage aboard the most magical cruise line on the high seas awaits you! I hope you are ready to be spoiled and pampered by the phenomenal crew while you enjoy everything Disney has to offer at sea. Since you are flying in a day prior to departure, you can expect a smooth land to sea transition when you arrive at Disney Cruise Line's terminal at Port Canaveral. If you are taking Disney Cruise Line ground transportation to the port, you will not have to worry about dealing with your luggage once it is loaded on the motor coach. If you have arranged for your own transportation, you'll drop your luggage curbside with the porters. The luggage tags that come in your Disney Cruise Line booklet will need to be placed on your luggage before arriving at the port. These tags are labeled with your name, sail date, ship and stateroom number, so the porters will be able to load your luggage onto the ship where it will magically appear outside your stateroom by late afternoon. You'll want to keep any important documentation and medications with you in your carry-on luggage. Staterooms are typically ready around 1:30 p.m. so you'll be able to drop off your carry-on bags and check out your beautifully appointed accommodations at that time.
Thank you for stopping by to "sea" us, Diana! If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
    Have a magical day!
