We are going on a Disney Cruise in February and are wondering about pre-paying our gratuities. Just wondering if I will be charged for all 4 of us (2 adults, 2 small children) what they suggest in the guidelines? Or can I preset the amounts?

Welcome to the Moms Panel Laurie!

February is just a couple of weeks away so the final countdown is on!  Soon you will be hearing your personalized "Welcome Aboard" greeting as you step foot onboard one of the magnificent Disney ships!  I hope you are ready for a magical voyage with Mickey and Minnie!

You have a great question, and I wondered the same exact thing on my first cruise. If you decide to pre-pay your gratuities, you will be charged the amount suggested by Disney.  If you would like to pay a different amount, you can let Guest Services know when you are onboard.  Envelopes and receipts will be provided to you so you can give them out on the last night of your sailing.

My family has always received service that far exceeded our expectations on our Disney cruises.  Both our dining servers and stateroom hosts have provided us with personalized service that has made us want to tip over the preset amounts.  I hope you have the same experience with outstanding service on your cruise.

If you have any other questions, please let me know!

Have a wonderful day and Bon Voyage!
