Hi Jeremy,
Disney Cruise Line is excellent with
special dietary requests. I recently sailed on the Disney Dream with gluten-free dining requests and was impressed with how careful the staff was about handling my food and keeping me safe.
Kosher for Passover requests must be submitted 10 weeks before your cruise. This is much longer than is normally needed for dietary requests but is required due to the increased demand for kosher meals that will need to be prepared ahead of time during the holiday. In past years, Disney has invited a Rabbi onboard to host a Seder meal and it is a great way to celebrate Passover with families from all over the world! Unfortunately, religious services are no longer offered on Disney Cruises but that doesn't mean you can not enjoy a private celebration with your family. Dietary requests such as Kosher meals will be submitted through the
Special Requests application under
My Reservations. Even if you have completed the request online, I recommend also making a call to ensure that they will be fully prepared for your dietary needs.
Once you are on your cruise, let your server know that you have a special dietary request. You will have the same server each night so they will make sure everything is taken care of you after they check in on the first night. Sometimes they will ask you to order ahead of time so that they can accommodate all of your requests and not keep you waiting during dinner. You can also still head to the buffet meals but make sure to check with the counter attendant. They will have the chef make you a special plate to ensure that you are not exposed to anything through cross-contamination.
I hope you all enjoy a magical holiday onboard Disney Cruise Line!
Jenna
