Our Disney Cruise on the Dream is in June 2017!!! Our room is located on the 8th Deck Forward, does anyone know if it rocks a lot?

Welcome aboard, April! Your magical adventure at sea on the Disney Dream is only a little over a month away! Hooray! You must be so excited to set sail with Captain Mickey and his crew!

My family and I have sailed in staterooms in all parts of Disney's ships, and have always had a wonderful experience. You shouldn't notice any more rocking at the Forward of the ship, especially on Deck 8. I always recommend a mid-level stateroom for those who are concerned about movement of the ship, so Deck 8 is the perfect place for you. Another thing that we've always enjoyed about sailing in the Forward of the ship is that it is less crowded when you take the elevators than the Midship elevators. You'll also be only a few stair flights away from the pool deck, so you can easily go up and down throughout the day, and in case you forget something in your room. I say that because I tend to make so many trips back when the kids forget a must-have item like sunglasses or goggles, or if I forget my camera, which you absolutely must keep with you at all times to record those magical memories!

Have so much fun as you set sail on the Dream this summer, April! I'm excited for you to experience all of the family fun onboard that ship!
    Happy cruising!
