Ahoy, Tiffany!
Congratulations on your upcoming vacation with
Disney Cruise Line! I hope you are enjoying the planning as much as I do because that will help the time until you set sail go by even faster! I'm sure you are counting the days until you embark on your journey with Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of their seafaring crew.
One of my biggest tips is always to fly in at least one day early, so you don't experience any issues on your actual embarkation day. Disney Cruise Line does have a partnership with the Hyatt Regency located at the Orlando International Airport. You can book a hotel room and purchase
ground transportation (one-way or roundtrip) for your sailing by calling (800) 951-3532. If you fly in the day before your cruise, the Hyatt Regency will pick-up your luggage from your hotel room around 8:00 a.m. the morning of your departure to be delivered directly to your stateroom later that afternoon. Once you are ready to board a motorcoach to
Port Canaveral, you'll walk over to Terminal B, Level 1 to check-in with a Cast Member. Departures to the Disney Cruise Line Terminal run from mid-morning until early afternoon. The ride over to the port takes 60 to 90 minutes depending on traffic, but it will go by fast as you are entertained along the way!
If this sounds like it will work with your plans, use the number I mentioned above to reach out to a cruise reservation agent for assistance with booking. When you check-in at the Hyatt Regency, let them know you are a Disney Cruise Line Guest, and they will provide a letter with important information including departure times for the following day. It will be smooth and seamless!
Thank you for sending in your question, Tiffany! We hope you'll come back to "sea" us again real soon.
