Ahoy Anna!
Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your
land and sea summer vacation sounds epic! When we sail out of
Port Canaveral, a visit to Walt Disney World Resort is a MUST for us as well. How perfect that you will be staying at the island-like paradise of
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort before your high seas adventure in the tropical
Bahamas!
If you have already included Disney Cruise Line
ground transportation in your cruise reservation, your arrangements will be made for you! As long as you notified them of the resort you will be staying at, Disney Cruise Line will take care of the rest.
The day before your cruise, you will receive transportation information in your resort room or hanging on your resort room door. It will include details on where and when to meet your motor coach to the port. In my experience, this has been in the morning between 9 AM and 11 AM, aligning with the check-out time of your resort.
If for some reason you do not receive travel details in your room by dinner time the day before your cruise,
contact Disney Cruise Line for assistance and they will provide this information to you. I also like to check my reservation a few days before we set sail to make sure ground transportation is included in my cruise details!
Before you depart for the port, be sure you have downloaded the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App on your personal device. With this mouseketool, you can manage all of your plans and reservations, view onboard activities, deck plans and dinner menus throughout your cruise!
Hop on the bus back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
