We are going on a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas in Sept 2013 with my parents. My mom is diabetic and needs to refridgerate her insulin. How do we go about getting a small refridgerator for their stateroom? What information is required? Thanks!

Welcome aboard, Cheryl! This fall will certainly be a magical one for you with this amazing cruise on Disney Cruise Line!

Disney Cruise Line is very accommodating for guests with any kind of special need. Simply call Disney Cruise Line at 1-800-951-3532 and let them know that your mother will need a mini-fridge and sharps container in her stateroom. This request will be added to her stateroom reservation. There is a cooling box/refrigerator in each room, but I don't believe that they are cold enough for special medications, so Disney offers special refrigerators for guests who request this. However, depending on the ship and the amount of requests, your mother might need to visit Guest Services to store her medication at the proper temperature.

Either way, the Cast Members will do their best to ensure that your mother doesn't have much hassle while she is onboard.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else before you set sail!
