Hi Mom's, going on our 1st Disney cruise in Aug. to the Bahamas. I need to know if you HAVE to have a passport. I know it would be easier but 3 out if 5 of us do not have one and it is another big expense. Thank you

Welcome aboard, Linda! Congratulations on your very first cruise with Disney Cruise Line! I promise that you've chosen the right cruise line for your first sailing (and every sailing from now on, if you're like me)!
Disney's high level of guest service and attention to detail as well as the magical ships in the fleet are what keep my family coming back again and again! I'm sure you'll find the same!

Guests are encouraged to travel with passports, however for the Bahamian and Caribbean sailings, they are not absolutely required. Adults without passports will need to present the original or copy of their state-issued birth certificates and driver's licences in order to board. Children under 16 will need just the original or copy of birth certificates when traveling with their parents. I hope that helps as you continue planning this magical sailing, Linda. Please feel free to stop back again with any other questions before you set sail later this year! I'm happy to help!
