For a Disney Cruise, are you allowed a purse and a carry on or does your purse count as your one carry on?

    Ahoy Brandy!

Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Can you see your high seas adventure just beyond the horizon?  I am so excited for you to be sailing with Captain Mickey in only two weeks!  It sounds like you getting your packing lists ready.  What a perfect way to pass the time before you set sail!

Similar to the guidelines for most airlines, Disney Cruise Line allows each guest to carry on one small piece of luggage when they board the ship.  I have carried on both a day bag and my purse without issue every time I have sailed with Captain Mickey.  The purse is a personal item that they will allow in addition to your carry-on bag.

When you pack your carry-on bag, be sure to include your travel documents and any medications you may need.  I also like to include my family's swimsuits and sunscreen so we can jump in the pools and soak up some sun if we are waiting for our stateroom or luggage.

Check in with the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if you have any additional questions before your magical getaway!  Bon voyage, Brandy!
