Hi Disney Mom's, coming to Disney in November. I was wondering if we can get in to starwars land to shop and take pictures? We won't be riding the ride. Would it help to make reservations for lunch there? Thanks!

    Bright suns, Pat!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We just flew out of the Planet of Batuu yesterday, and my younglings are already asking when we will return! Prepare to be amazed by Black Spire Outpost.

As long as the outpost is not teeming with travelers, you are more than welcome to shop, eat, and explore. If the planet reaches capacity, you will be able to join a Boarding Group, where you will receive a return time to visit the land. You can keep up-to-date on the intergalactic happenings on the My Disney Experience app.

Some of the more popular smuggler hang-outs might be a bit busy; I would consider a reservation at Droid Depot, Savi’s Workshop, or Oga’s Cantina. You can book these experiences online or via the app. My Jedi Warrior Princess has already requested a custom astromech unit for her next birthday (which is the weekend of your visit), so I might see you there!

If you are looking for galactic grub, you can find it at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo or Ronto Roasters. I celebrated my birthday with the Smoked Kaadu Ribs and toasted with a Sour Salacc at the cargo bay, and I highly recommend both! I also have heard nothing but good things about the spit-fired offerings at Ronto Roasters. Both of these restaurants are Quick-Service locations, so no need for reservations!

Pat, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. To the spire!
