Hi! We have never been to Disney before! We want to be as close to the Magic Kingdom as possible and in a one bedroom suite if possible - what's the best hotel for that? Thanks!! Travelling with a 2 year old and 5 year old.

Hi, Beth!  You'll want to stay in one of the monorail resorts if you want to be as close to the Magic Kingdom as possible.  Those resorts are the Contemporary, the Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian.  You can get a suite in any of those resorts.

Something else you may want to consider is Bay Lake Tower.  This is a Disney Vacation Club resort, but guests who are not DVC members may also book rooms there.  The one bedroom suite there will have a washer and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, and a separate master bedroom.  The living room will have a fold out option where the children can sleep.  It is right next to the Contemporary Resort, so a few steps closer to the Magic Kingdom if you want to walk, but the building connects to the  Contemporary, so you can also hop right on the monorail.

I hope that helps!  If you have any other questions, please feel free to come on back!
