    Hello, We are going to Disney this Christmas, When would you recommend buying our Magic Bands?

    Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    MagicBands are one of my favorite parts of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and it's so much fun to customize them for each member of your family! 

    Are you staying on site at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel? If so, your MagicBands are included in the cost of your reservation. At least a month ahead of your check-in date, you should head over to My Disney Experience under the MagicBands and Cards link on the dropdown menu, and you will be easily able to choose your colors and your desired names. 

    If you are staying off-site, you don't need a MagicBand and can simply use the plastic ticket for entrance into the park. If your family chooses to purchase MagicBands anyway for ease of use, you can purchase them at the Disney Store or on site at the Walt Disney World Resort!
