Dear Amanda,
Thank you so much for stopping by to see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your
wondEARful question! The Christmas season is the most magical season of the year at the most magical place on earth, and how lovely that you will be there to experience it for yourselves!
You are correct that there is no
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on Christmas Eve or on Christmas Day, but rest assured that all of the seasonal decor and feeling is very much present! Check for
Extra Magic Hours for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests and plan on taking advantage of them.
Christmas Day at the
Magic Kingdom is the busiest park on the busiest day, so plan ahead. Early arrival will ensure that you will not be closed out of the park due to large numbers of your fellow guests who also wish to celebrate the season of joy with you. I recommend that you make
Advanced Dining Reservations for Table-Service meals so that your magic is enhanced by not having to wait in a long line for a Quick-Service meal.
Epcot is also an incredibly magical place to spend Christmas Day, and I recommend booking a dinner package for the Candlelight Processional as well to ensure easy seating for that show.
The most important advice that I have for you is to take it slow, pace yourself, and enjoy the magic of the season.
Have a magical vacation!
