Does Disney charge a fee (3% or other) to use a credit card to pay the charges to my Magic Band?

Hi Alyce and welcome to planDisney! Your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is less than a month away! Hooray! Thanks for stopping by with your planning question.

When it comes to using your MagicBands for purchases during your adventures at the theme parks, you won't have to worry about an additional charge. Guests staying at Disney Resort Collection hotels are able to make purchases with a quick tap on a sensor and a pin number and all of their charges will end up on their hotel bill at the end of their stay. It's a great perk when you stay onsite!

As long as you're ok with your purchases going on the credit card you left on file at your Disney hotel, you will be good to go.

When it comes to MagicBands, remember that you can always use bands from a previous trip. As long as a valid theme park ticket it linked to you on your My Disney Experience account, any and all active bands can be used during your visit.

Alyce, I hope I've been helpful. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. It's always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next vacation!
