Are there other Disney character photo op's besides the character dinning experiences?

Hey Robin and absolutely!  The characters can be found throughout all the parks, and I'll be more than happy to tell you about a few of these locations.  When the gate drops at each park you can always find characters near the front entrances ready to greet you, sign autograph books and of course snap a photo or two.  At DHS the characters are located under the Sorcerer's hat.  They come out throughout the day.  Here you can meet everyone from Mulan to Chip and Dale.
At MK the characters can be spotted on main street, in Adventureland, Fantasyland ... virtually everywhere!  Great character greetings can really be found in Toontown.  Mickey Mouse even has his own special tent where you can meet the main mouse one on one!
At AK Mickey and friends will be dressed in their best safari outfits.  Characters from the Lion King are always around at this park and so are characters from Bug's Life and the Jungle Book.  If you are a fan of BOLT, Bolt and his buddies can be found at DHS near the Magic of Disney Animation.
Thanks so much for coming to the Mom's Panel with your great question, if you think of anything else, just send us another email.  I hope you and your family have a wonderful WDW vacation.
