    Welcome to planDisney! As a fellow Tennessean, I am so excited to see you will be making the trek down to Walt Disney World for a magical vacation. 

    Cash is widely accepted throughout Walt Disney World's theme parks, resorts, and at Disney Springs. I find that using cash at Disney World helps me budget how much I spend daily and has always been super convenient. The only issue I have ever run into at Disney World when trying to use cash was a small street vendor who could only accept mobile payments at the time.

    There are some places where utilizing a credit card can be a little more convenient than cash. I enjoy utilizing the My Disney Experience app for Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering because it simplifies the process and makes it super quick and convenient. If you don't have a credit card to use for these types of purchases, you can always purchase a Disney Gift Card with cash ahead of time and load it onto your account to use for mobile purchases within the My Disney Experience app.
