Hi Rose!
See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me! And no one knows how far it goes. It sounds like the sea has been calling you, too, Rose, and I’m so happy to hear you answered the call with a cruise on
Disney Cruise Line.
I sailed onboard the
Disney Magic for an
Alaskan cruise that departed from Vancouver in 2022. We enjoyed our time in Vancouver so much that we booked a return trip to explore the city the next year for our daughter’s graduation. I highly recommend you take the time to explore Vancouver, if possible, either before or after your cruise. Upon arrival in Vancouver, my family stayed at a hotel close to the port, but after our cruise, we stayed at a hotel at the Vancouver Airport before departing the next day.
You should be able to find bottled water in the shops at the airport, and it will likely be available at your hotel. Once onboard your Disney Cruise ship, you can purchase water in different quantities to have with you in your stateroom. Some water packages include a soft cooler, which makes for a fantastic souvenir. Cast Members will offer these packages for purchase in the dining areas on embarkation day before the ship leaves the port. You can also find water at all the restaurants and drink-filling stations onboard. I usually bring my refillable water bottle and use the water refill stations to stay hydrated while on the ship.
If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me, one day I’ll know how far I’ll go! I hope you have an unforgettable time sailing with
Disney Cruise Line. If we can answer any more of your vacation questions, please bring them here to
planDisney. We are here and ready to set sail to find answers.
