We are going to Disney Boardwalk on March 27 and have our tickets for Epcot. Can we go to the Disney boardwalk and then enter in the back Epcot gate to get in Epcot or do we have to go all the way back around?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Joe!

Welcome to planDisney! We are THRILLED you stopped by, and we are honored and privileged to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! I know you are already counting down the days to your arrival. OH, and Mickey and Minnie told me to tell you they can't wait to "See You REAL Soon!"

What a great question, and I have a MAGICAL answer for you! I am very happy to inform you that you most certainly CAN enter EPCOT through the back gate, known as the International Gateway when visiting Disney's BoardWalk without going all the way to the main entrance. The International Gateway is situated between the United Kingdom and France pavilions in World Showcase. After you enjoy your time at Disney's BoardWalk, you can stroll back to The International Gateway in about five to 10 minutes. Another great option is taking the FriendShip Boat, which provides a relaxing ride from the BoardWalk area to the International Gateway. Don't you just love happy endings?!

You are going to LOVE visiting The BoardWalk area! One of my family's favorite places to eat is the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort! We love the Atlantic seashore theme, and the burgers are so good! Oh, and don't forget to try the Kitchen Sink - which is eight scoops of ice cream and covered with every topping you can think of! You can also try the brand new restaurant, The Cake Shop - an elegant, whimsical bakery and restaurant offering incredible desserts, afternoon tea, and upscale dining in a charming, storybook-inspired setting. If you can't tell...I love dessert!

If you have other questions, please know we are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!

    Wes
