    Is Disney’s Boardwalk wheelchair accessible?

Hi there, Roy! Welcome to planDisney. We’re so glad you stopped by!

Disney's BoardWalk is one of my favorite places to relax and soak in the magic of Walt Disney World. Watching the ferries glide across Crescent Lake while enjoying the lively atmosphere is such a treat!
You’ll be happy to know that Disney's BoardWalk is fully accessible for guests using wheelchairs.

Whether you're visiting a restaurant, the resort lobby, a theme park, or planning to take a ferry, you’ll find that accessibility has been thoughtfully considered throughout the area.

The walkway around Crescent Lake and the BoardWalk is smooth and wheelchair-friendly, making it easy to navigate. If you're planning to visit Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, there is an elevator available for guests who need assistance. Should you have any trouble locating it, simply ask a nearby Cast Member at one of the restaurants, quick-service locations, or the resort, and they’ll be happy to guide you.

planDisney Pro Tip: While you're exploring the BoardWalk, don’t miss out on grabbing a treat from BoardWalk Ice Cream. The magic really comes alive at night with twinkling lights and entertainment! You might even catch a glimpse of the Luminous The Symphony of Us fireworks from the perfect spot on the Boardwalk.

Wishing you a magical day filled with unforgettable moments! Let us know if there’s anything else we can help with.

    Toodles,
    Korliss
