Valeria,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Disney's BoardWalk is such a fantastic evening destination! Great dining, family-friendly entertainment, and a relaxing break from the busy tempo in the theme parks.
Getting to the BoardWalk, however, can be a bit more challenging than a stroll atop the iconic lake side planks. What I suggest is to take a bus from your Disney resort to
Disney's Hollywood Studios. When you get there, rather than entering the park, you can walk, fly, or boat to the BoardWalk.
Option 1: FlyI love to hop on the
Disney Skyliner, which has a station right there at the Hollywood Studios park entrance. You can soar from there to the
EPCOT station and walk the rest of the way. That walk is about a third of a mile (1/2 km). Total time in the air is about 20 minutes, with a few minutes to transfer from one Skyliner route to another.
Option 2: SailThe
Friendship boats also sail from in front of the park entrance, making a few stops along the way. No walking required, but the sail will take about 30 minutes, as it makes a few stops on the route.
Option 3: WalkYou can also walk from the front of Hollywood Studios to the BoardWalk, which is about a mile (1 1/2 km).
BOTTOM LINEI would opt for the boat or the Skyliner, but really any of the choices are good ones.
BONUS TIPComing soon to Disney's BoardWalk is a restaurant from just a few miles away from my home here in Indiana, the
Cake Bake Shop!
