Hi Stacy! Welcome to planDisney. As they say on Batuu, "Bright Suns!"
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is one of my favorite places in all of Walt Disney World Resort. Being transported to the planet Batuu and exploring Black Spire Outpost, experiencing Star Wars adventures, and seeing the stories I love come alive...it's all magical. I'm always standing by and ready to punch it into hyperdrive and speed off to this land!
In order to visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, you must have valid theme park admission and a
Disney Park Pass reservation for your visit date. You may purchase tickets and make theme park reservations at any time.
If you mean reservations for experiences inside the land, those can be made 60 days in advance. If you plan to build a custom lightsaber at
Savi's Workshop, design and assemble your own droid at
Droid Depot, or have a drink at
Oga's Cantina, you should plan to make your reservations as soon as your 60-day mark arrives, as these can be tough to get. If you'll be staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can make dining reservations for the length of your stay (up to 10 days) 60 days from your check-in date. I have linked each of those experiences above; click the links for more information, including reservation and Know Before You Go details.
You can still have a great time at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge without reservations. Sip on Blue Milk, try a Ronto Wrap, ride Millenium Falcon: Smuggler's Run, and explore some amazing space oddities at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities - no advance reservation needed. To join the mission in Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you currently need to secure a Boarding Group on the day of your visit. My fellow Jedi
Tamela shares all the details on how to join a Boarding Group in this helpful answer.
In case you're asking about the much-anticipated Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, we're still waiting for details on when Guests may book a voyage.
The webpage for this incredible experience, opening in Spring 2022, has lots of great details and a sign-up link to receive updates. I would also watch the
Disney Parks Blog for transmissions.
Stacy, R2-D2 informs me that he has accessed all the information about reservations in his database. If you have more questions about your Star Wars adventure, please come back and see us - we Star Wars fans are always happy to go on a quest to uncover plans!
May the Force be with you,
Robyn
